Corporate events in R Trader
All important information about financial instruments is now gathered in one place, which is contract specification by instruments and Corporate Events Calendar.
Which corporate events are available for clients?
Dividends: payment days and sums
Dividends are a part of the company's net profit meant for distributing between stockholders.
In Forex, commodities, or indices, your income depends solely on the price movements of the instrument. It is also quite difficult to predict further movements of the price. However, in the stock market, the stockholder will receive dividends, which is a substantial advantage.
Earnings: the date of publication of financial reports
Earnings Season is the period during which public companies present their financial results for the quarter/6 months/year. More specifically, it is four months following the quarters - January, April, July, and October. The reports directly influence the stock quotations.
Splits: the dates, split ratio, and consolidation coefficient of stocks
As a rule, stocks need consolidating or splitting when the price has grown/fallen significantly, or the stock price of the rivals in the field is noticeably over/understated. These procedures are meant for making the stocks more available and enhancing demand.
Corporate events may be filtered by companies, countries, dates, and types.
Graphic representation of the statistics of the account
R Trader now features handy charts for analyzing your trading. Your results for each account are now represented as charts, including the key trading characteristics: profitability, equity, drawdown, deposit load, balance. Traders may assess the changes in the account, decrease risks, and enhance their results. This instrument is available to each trader having an active account on R Trader, even a demo account.
In the nearest future, traders will be able to share the link to their results or post it on the blog or any other website. Also, you will be able to compare your results with those of other traders on the platform using the general rating based on the profitability of accounts.
New built-in indicators
We received an avalanche of client requests for adding new indicators to R Trader - and so we did! The current update enriched the platform with four new indicators.
Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)
The VWAP indicator represents the volume weighted average price. This price and its standard deviations may serve as landmarks for market analysis and act as key levels. Detailed information about the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) indicator you can find here.
This Force Index indicator measures the force of bulls and bears at the growth or decline of the chosen asset. Detailed information about the Force Index indicator you can find here.
Pivot Point is a tech analysis indicator calculating the general market trend in different periods. The Pivot Point itself is the average price of the high, low, and close of the previous trading day. Detailed information about the Pivot Point indicator you can find here.
Donchian Channel is an indicator created by Richard Donchian. It forms based on the highs and lows of the last n periods. The area between the high and low is the trading channel for the chosen period. Detailed information about the Donchian Channel indicator you can find here.
In the nearest future, we will add a system of automatic reinvestment of dividends; we will speak about it very soon, after the release.
